I wanted to create something for the end of Jan. A little pause at the end of the school holidays before we jump back into 'business as usual'.
An opportunity to get intentional in community about how we want to feel about ourselves and our drinking in 2026.
The FREE
- 3 Day -
End of Jan Alcohol Reset
Reconnect. Rewire. Rise
WHAT IT IS
An opportunity to reconnect with yourself and remember the fun of you.
You’ll learn a few simple skills that open up a different way of being with yourself and alcohol, and help you take that learning into a 2026 that feels easier, more accepting, and less restrictive.
This is an introduction to my “third way” with alcohol –
not miserably sober, and not stuck wishing you could just stop at two.
You don’t need to stop drinking.
You don’t need willpower.
You don’t need to be anywhere other than where you are right now.
Come exactly as you are. This is for anyone, wherever they are in their relationship with alcohol, and wherever they’d like to get to.
Join me live at 6pm AEDT on January 27, 28 and 29.
This is a short, supportive reset to help alcohol take up less mental space, without turning it into a self-improvement project.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This time of year can be a lot – in different ways.
For some parents, the long summer holidays mean disrupted routines, more emotional labour, juggling work, kids, family dynamics, and sometimes shared care logistics.
For others, the holidays are the easier part, and the return to school brings its own challenges – anxious kids, advocacy, and supporting children who find school hard.
That’s where this fits.
A small window to pause before life gathers pace again, to reflect and get intentional about how you want to take your relationship with alcohol forward into 2026.
This is for you:
- If you’ve tried the usual approaches to drinking –
willpower, rules, tips, guardrails, distraction, or haven't worked to change your behaviour longer term. - If you swing between trying to be “good” and then drinking more than you meant to.
- If you’re tired of the self-judgement, the all-or-nothing thinking, or feeling like moderation should be easier than it is.
- If you don’t like being told what to do.
- If the idea of taking a break feels like a loss of freedom.
- If alcohol is part of your identity – and a part you actually like.
- If drinking feels a bit rebellious, and not drinking feels like punishment.
- If alcohol helps you relax, socialise, switch off, focus, or feel more like yourself.
- If you wish you could drink like “normal people” and don’t want to feel on the outside of life.
It’s for anyone, wherever they are in their relationship with alcohol and wherever they want to go.
- Some people want to be alcohol-free.
- Some want to moderate with ease.
- Some are alcohol-free but keep slipping up, or wishing they could drink.
- Some just want a little reset - with a longer impact on their everyday drinking.
- Some aren’t sure yet.
All of that belongs here.
Because this work isn’t about forcing an outcome.
It’s about changing how you feel bout alcohol and it's impact on your body and mind, so your behaviour can change without effort.
And it’s for people who are curious.
Open.
Willing to try something different that doesn’t rely on force or restriction.
If what you want is a take-it-or-leave-it relationship with alcohol – where it matters less, takes up less space, and doesn’t run the show – come and join us for the 3 Day Reset.
What You'll Experience:
Day 1 (Jan 27): RECONNECT with your authentic self, your agency, power and intuition. Move out of judgment into compassion and curiosity. Create a more relationally safe internal experience (one you don't need to escape from)
Day 2 (Jan 28): REWIRE beliefs that are keeping you stuck drinking more than you want. Knowledge is power. When we know new things, we feel differently. When we feel differently, we do differently. Rewire your language and belief system to move forward into an intentional relationship with alcohol.
Day 3 (Jan 29): RISE The exact tools of what to do next to move into that illusive take-it-or-leave-it relationship with alcohol. Envision the future where alcohol is a non-issue. Begin to rise up out of the confines of the small safe world alcohol keeps us in. Harness you incredible power to step into a new way of being around alcohol for 2026
This is so different to everything you've ever done. With a feel good high energy 'what if it was easy?' vibe running throughout.
You will receive the tools to step into freedom not restriction. Slip-ups are seen as information - not moral failings. Less "new year new me". More a "new year, me OG". Returning to the human we were put on this earth to be.
You'll also get:
• Awareness worksheets - the best tool for working mindfully with drinking - this alone has helped thousands of clients reduce their alcohol consumption
• A grounding meditation - the classic reconnect to body and present moment awareness tool I use through all my programs - run with an neurodivergent (ND) friendly understanding of how tricky we find identifying body signals and emotions.
• A visualisation for 2026 - imagining yourself where you want to be. Visualisation is such a powerful tool and what I used to get me ready to change my career and go back to studying in 2019. It makes the brain feel so safe. Like it's been to the future before - so it doesn't feel so unreachable and scary.
• A journalling workbook for the three days
Everything's optional. Nothing to keep up with. No big drama. Just some time to spend on your own, reflecting on you.
What People Are Saying:
"The Alcohol Reset is a great way to press pause on drinking, and to evaluate why we drink. I found the live sessions each night to be warm and inclusive. No judgement at all. It made me realise there are so many people out there just like me." - Kerrie
"Emma guides you into gently redefining alcohol as being the actual asshole problem, not you. We are not alone." - Sarah
"I worked my way through panic, resentment, blocking, feeling that it's too hard to a feeling of possibility. The 3 days has been alcohol free for me, which I wasn't sure I could do." - Siobhan
"Emma, thank you for being so authentic and real. This allowed myself to hear your teachings without feeling shame or dislike for myself. I was able to attend from the space of curiosity and SELF compassion." - Eilie
"Learning that you can't fail is a great feeling. So positive and non judgy!" - Tracy
"It's like having a good like minded, non judgmental friend in my living room, helping me with a problem I don't want to share with friends or family. I felt safe. It was fun too and I laughed out loud many times." - Anne
How You'll Feel After:
After this 3-day reset, you'll have a quieter mind. You've got some more tools to be able to work with your brain.
There'll be less internal negotiation. Less fighting with yourself.
You'll start to trust yourself again. I think one of the really hard pieces when our alcohol use gets a bit out of whack is that we lose our trust in ourselves, and that makes us so sad.
You'll feel like alcohol is less loud. It's got less control, less power in your mental world and physical world.
You'll go into the new year lighter, brighter, feeling kind of cleansed and lovely.
For some people, those 3 days are enough. For others, it opens the door to deeper support.
What Makes This Different:
See, the difference with what I do is it's not about fixing ourselves. It's about coming home to who we are. Who we're put on this earth to really be, before we created the persona that helps us feel safe in the world.
It's not about being in restriction, afraid of alcohol. It's not about being in constriction, bracing against our cravings.
It's about opening up, leaning in, and taking the fear out of the equation so that we can be in choice.
It's not that we have to, it's that we get to.
Not that we can't, it's that we don't have to.
This is very different to the willpower approach. No abstinence pressure - you can drink and do this if you want.
We don't have to stop drinking to change our relationship with alcohol.
We lean into the reason why we're drinking. We start exploring the root cause. Understanding what is the need that's not being met, so that we can meet it.
I'm trauma-informed, a registered and licensed counsellor and psychotherapist. I'm the AuDHD alcohol coach - a late-diagnosed Autistic/ADHD woman who understands masking fatigue, nervous system overwhelm, and what it's like to use alcohol to cope with a busy brain.
My spaces are judgment- free, neuro-affirming and LBGTIQ+ friendly, if that's you as well. In the inimitable words of Daddy Warbuck & Grace from Annie - "I think you are going to like it here".
It's not about strength or weakness. It's not about coming from a place that we're broken.
It's not about fixing - you're not behind.
It's about coming home to self, remembering who you are, remembering who you were born to be.
It's About Awareness, Not Abstinence
This is about moving out of fear and into choice.
It's about awareness and learning, so we can step into the new year with a changed relationship with alcohol.
Ready?
Please get some rest. Please do something nice for you.
Hi, I'm Emma
A deeply feminist counsellor and coach, helping mid-life bad ass women find their groove without booze.
The having it all myth ...
The pressure on women in mid-life is insane.
We grew up with Madonna on our Walkmans, ‘Working Girl’ at the cinema and ‘we can have it all’ expectations.
Fast forward twenty years and we have been all the things the mum, the wife, the career woman.
Running full throttle on caffeine, booze and adrenaline for so long, we are literally ‘Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown’.
It all came to a head for me in 2018 when I suffered burnout from years of chronic stress and I had to leave my corporate career.
After, countless drunken cab rides and trips to the emergency, my eldest child told me to stop bringing wine into the bedroom at storytime as it was making them feel anxious, it really hit home...
I retrained as a counsellor and psychotherapist, stopped drinking and became an alcohol coach to help other women on the same trajectory.
You deserve a break from booze that feels wonderful, not sad and I am here to show you how to get that!
At Hope Rising Coaching, our mission is to put you back in control by improving your relationship with alcohol and removing your desire to drink. This is done through a journey of facts, neuroscience, and logic throughout our various programs.
Through education and enlightenment based on the most recent insights across psychology and neuroscience, you are able to forever change your relationship – without pain, without rules, and without missing out.
